The Free Medical Mission saw close to 1200 members of the public benefiting from the NDDC Free Health Checkups ; including body mass index, blood pressure, blood sugar and total cholesterol tests. The free health tests and medical screening conducted by professional health workers, doctors who performed the surgeries, and drugs administration by pharmacists for ailments are stirring testimonies of NDDC’s determination to improve lives.
The public is extremely proud of the initiative taken by NDDC, as this is in line with the commission’s strategic plan for the Niger Delta.
The people are also please that ARRDEC has played a part in this noble medical program. The testaments so far affirmed that the free medical mission have a profound and catalytic impact to the people.
The people were also given health seminars and children were not left out as over 200 were inoculated.
The people of Mkpat Enin LGA thanked the organizers for remembering the community “as not everyone can afford to go to the hospital”.
The free medical mission moves to:
General Hospital – Ikot Abasi LGA on Monday 11th – 12th November 2019.
Ebughu Health Centre – Mbo LGA and General Hospital – Iquita, Oron LGA on Wednesday 13th – 14th November 2019.
