The Senior Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Solomon Enang has assured partnership with a fact finding group known as Citizens Quest with the aim to keep the the public informed on Federal Government projects in the Niger Delta region.
The Presidential Aide stated this when the national leadership of Citizens Quest led by its President Chief Oby Ndukwe, paid a congratulatory visit to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs in his office in Abuja on Thursday 5th September, 2019.
In an interactive session, Senator Enang expressed delight on his appointment and thanked the team for showing solidarity.
Responding, Chief Oby commended Senator Enang for his sterling contributions in the public service and sought for robust partnership of the group with the Presidency to assist in information dissemination of projects and developments across Niger Delta Regions.
Oby tendered the summary of the group’s reports the team have had so far within the space of two months during the volunteering tour to confirm projects in the Niger Delta States.
Reacting to that, Enang acknowledged the vision of the Citizens Quest in reporting the situation of the region and bringing to the public knowledge the plight of its citizens for urgent attention in the area of intervention, safety and economic benefits of programmes. He promised that the presidency will do everything possible to partner with the NGO to aide in promoting and fast tracking developments in the Niger Delta Region.
