The Apc Candidate For Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency, Barr. Edet Ikotidem, Consults The People Of Ward One And Two In Itu Local Government Area

The golden mandate campaign organization led by Barr. Edet IkotIdem, visited the people of Ward one and two, for official consultations as he continued the ward tours in his Federal constituency toward his success in the February 16, 2019 elections.

The events were held at government primary school, Ayadehe and Government primary school, Ikot Esia, all in Oku-Iboku clan, ITU local government area.

In his welcome remark, The DG, Golden Mandate campaign organization, Engr. Efiok Bassey Etim, welcomed the people and thanked the candidate for bringing the tour to his Local government. He assured the team that Itu people were on stand by to deliver Barr. Edet IkotIdem.
“We cannot avoid to support IkotIdem because Itu/Ibiono Ibom federal constituency deserves the best representation”. He said.

In his response, The APC chapter chairman, Hon. Imoh Okon, expressed satisfaction with the massive turn out witnessed in Oku Iboku clan.
He added that;

“Itu people cannot avoid to vote all APC candidates because of what the people had benefited so far, in which the PDP state government have not done, even a quarter of it; that’s why we must cast our votes based on performance and scorecards”.

President Buhari and Obong Dr. Nsima Ekere have done well through NDDC projects in the area, that’s why they deserve our votes.

“The people of Itu are aware of a brother whom we all campaigned and voted for in 2015 to represent us at the hallowed chamber but disappeared with the mandate and forsook his obligations for good four years, yet, he has started another campaign and have the guts to come back and beg the people he had abandoned to support him? Such thing cannot prevail “

“I can assure you that, the vote of Itu is well protected for you and other APC candidates. All we will do as a people is to pay back Dr. Henry Archibong through our collective votes and we will make sure that he fails in his unit”. He added.

The candidate Barr. Edet Ikotidem, thanked the people for abandoning their duties most especially the farmers and those operating at the riverine areas, to come and receive him and also hear his voice.

He assured the people that: Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal constituency shall have effective representation come may 2019, one that was not had
“since our brother, distinguished Senator Ita Enang, left the position in 2011”.

He charged the people to remain resolute and law abiding because one of his objectives to the national Assembly is to make the people in that area have peace,freedom and stability.

He went further to state that all Waring community in Oku-Iboku clan and boundary disagreements would be reviewed holistically to put a stop to destruction of properties and farm lands in the community.

He also pleaded with the youths to stop destroying properties at the paper mill industry even as he would put in efforts to talk to President Buhari and others to join hands to revitalize the apex industry. He concluded.

The chapter chairman, Hon. Imo Okon, presented the candidate to the people and charged them to spread the good vision he has for Oku-Iboku clan.

Those who also spoke include; Hon. Eniang, Dr. Dominic Etuk and Lady Cecilia Ekpenyong. Others are; Elder Phar. Eniang, Chief Udo Umoh, Hon. Efeh Eniang, Hon. Akan Imoh Usanga, Obong Awan Christiana Udosen, Chief Daniel J. Udoh, Mr .Akan Okon and many others.

The events witnessed all political stakeholders, women, youths and Elders in Oku-Iboku clan.
